AMWAY WORKING ON CANADIAN ENERGY BAR

Amway Corp. of Ada, Michigan teamed up with basketball star Shaquille O'Neal to launch an energy bar in the U.S. last month, but it could be a while before Canada sees it. "At this point some ingredients are causing a problem with the Health Protection Branch of Health Canada," public spokesperson Angela Abdella told Adnews yesterday. Amway in Canada is planning to reformulate the bar but can't say when it will be ready to go to market.
