SOFTWARE GETS NEW MARKETING STRATEGY

MultiActive Technologies of Vancouver hired Floatche, Johnson of Redmond, Washington recently to handle advertising for its Maximizer sales management software, which is marketed throughout North America. MultiActive bought the software last month from Modatech of Vancouver. In the past the software has been sold to sales people and real estate agents, as well as certain small and large businesses. MultiActive plans to increase the software's features to allow any business to use it, and to expand advertising to reach a wider market. There are two versions of Maximizer on the market and a third is to be introduced on a date that is yet to be announced. MultiActive develops products and services for the Internet and other on-line environments. It chose a U.S. agency for Maximizer because Modatech used a U.S. firm and this move will make advertising consistent, even though MultiActive is not using Modatech's agency, spokesperson Carol Mok told Adnews last week. She added that the new agency is familiar with the U.S. market and has a lot of contacts there.
