MSN.CA BEGINS MOTHER'S DAY CONTEST

MSN.ca has begun a Mother's Day contest to promote its MSN eShop channel. Visitors to the Web site are invited to write a personal greeting to send to their mothers. When the recipient reads the greeting she will also see a list of 10 prizes she might win. In addition to the grand prize of up to $2,000 in MSN eShop prizes, two weekly prizes of $250 cash will also be awarded via random draws. MSN is promoting the contest in its newsletter and with banner advertising. The concept for the contest and the supporting advertising were developed by Splashworks.com of Toronto.
