MARK ANTHONY PROMOTES NEW MIKE'S HARD LEMONADE FLAVOURS

The Mark Anthony Beverage Co. of Vancouver is promoting two new flavours of vodka beverages: Mike's Hard Orange and Mike's Hard Raspberry Ice Tea. The company has also introduced a larger plastic bottle called "Mike's Chub". A national outdoor advertising campaign by The BrainStorm Group of Toronto is promoting these product extensions. Approximately 800 billboards are displaying copy such as "When the sun kissed these oranges, tongue was involved," "Freshly squeezed to death," "Picked from the wrong side of the bush," and "The hottest combination since 'push-up' met 'bra,'" to advertise the new flavours. Ads for the larger bottle read, "It sure looks big in your hand" and "Others suffer from bottle envy." The campaign's tagline is, "Make it Mike's." Existing products in the line include Mike's Hard Lemonade and Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade. They are sold in Canada in liquor stores and licensed establishments. Mike's Chub will also be sold at locations such as concert venues and stadiums.
