SPEEDY GLASS CAMPAIGN BEGINS

A new television campaign for Speedy Glass, formerly Speedy Auto and Window Glass, has begun in Canada, excluding Quebec. The two 30-second cammercials promote the company's name change and communicate that Speedy Glass fixes both residential and auto glass and offers Air Miles rewards miles. The first ad, called "Lumber", shows lumber being loaded into a customer's car by a store employee. The customer tells the employee to "keep it coming" in order to get Air Miles when the lumber breaks the front windshield. The second spot, called "Ball", shows a father and his sons playing baseball on the front lawn. The father moves one son in front of a bay window and tells the other to throw a curve ball, in order to collect Air Miles when the window is broken. The tagline for both ads is, "Speedy Glass. If it's glass we fix it. Right." The campaign is aimed at men and women who own cars and homes. Speedy Glass is a division of Autostock International of Burnaby, BC.
