HONDA CANADA BEGINS PAUL TRACY PROMOTION

Race car driver Paul Tracy and Honda Canada have begun a promotion called "Drive to Win with Paul Tracy". The initiative is part of a new marketing deal between Tracy and Honda organized by Quattro Communications of Toronto, the agency that represents Tracy. As part of the promotion, consumers will be able to meet with Tracy prior to his races in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal during the 2002 season. To enter, consumers must purchase or lease a new Honda vehicle between April 2 and June 15 (July 15 in Quebec). Approximately 1,200 pairs of race tickets will be awarded by random draws. In addition to meeting Tracy, winners will receive lunch at the track and a prize pack. Marketing support for the promotion includes full-page newspaper ads, radio spots, a direct mail piece and in-store materials at Honda dealerships in Canada. The advertising was created by Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll of Toronto.
