PEPSI INTRODUCES BRISK LEMONADE

Pepsi-Cola Canada Ltd. of Mississauga will distribute a new product called Brisk Lemonade to Canadian stores this month. The drink is from the Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership which markets the Lipton Iced Tea and Lipton Brisk brands. Brisk Lemonade will be sold in 600 ml and 2L bottles, 12- and 24-packs of cans and at restaurants and movie-theatres. A multi-million dollar television campaign will promote the lemonade with the tagline, "Meet your new squeeze." Advertising, created by J. Walter Thompson, will also include radio support, posters at Famous Players theatres, and in-store materials. A sampling campaign will also take place this summer in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Winnipeg and Ottawa and Hull. Public relations for Pepsi-Cola Canada are handled by Praxis Public Relations of Toronto.
