DUNKIN' DONUTS CHARITY FUND HOLDS FUNDRAISING CONTEST
By Adnews Staff
The Dunkin' Donuts Charity Fund has begun its annual fundraising campaign for 2002. This year the initiative will support the Regroupement des maisons de jeunes de Quebec. This is a not-for-profit organization that operates approximately 120 youth outreach centres in the province. During the fundraising campaign the proceeds from the sale of scratch and win cards in Dunkin' Donut locations in Quebec will go to the RMJQ. The campaign began on Monday and will run until May 21. The grand prize is $25,000 in cash. A variety of Dunkin' Donut prizes are also available to be won. Consumers who purchase a card also receive a coupon booklet redeemable at any Dunkin' Donuts location in Quebec. The cards were created by Palm Publicite Marketing, Dunkin' Donuts' advertising agency. They employ the theme "Ça fait chaud au coeur" (It warms the heart). In-store materials, also created by Palm, are supporting the campaign. The Dunkin' Donuts Charity Fund was created in 1992 when all charitable activities for the donut chain and its franchisees were consolidated.
