ACT TORONTO BEGINS 2002 FASHION CARES MARKETING EFFORT

Aids Committee of Toronto will unveil the marketing campaign for its annual Fashion Cares MAC VIVA GLAM fundraising event today. This year's Fashion Cares event makes use of a circus theme. Advertising, created by Zig of Toronto, includes outdoor, print, broadcast, direct mail and street postings. The media space has been donated by Fashion Cares media partners including The Globe and Mail, National Post, CHUM FM and Xtra!. The <http://www.fashioncares.com> Web site, designed by Unplugged Design, also opens today to coincide with the media launch and corporate sponsor preview event. The circus concept has also been applied to event invitations, ticket holders and media materials. Public relations for this year's campaign are being handled by The Siren Group.
