By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Chris Ward & Associates has relaunched itself as Riverhorse Integrated, a full service advertising agency with a focus on strategic branding. "We decided to launch Riverhorse Integrated to better reflect the strategic branding, advertising and marketing work we're doing for many clients," said agency president Chris Ward. Clients of the firm include Sprint Canada, Scotiabank, SOCAN, the Government of Ontario and IPEX. The name refers to the hippopotamus. "Our mission is to help our clients build heavyweight brands based on sound strategy and big, fat hairy ideas," said Ward. "Our name and logo were developed to convey that message." Also, the agency has gained three staff members. George Walton has been hired as creative director. He has previously held positions at Maclaren Advertising, Ogilvy & Mather and Enterprise. Elizabeth Walker has been hired to lead brand planning and research. She was formerly president of 20/20 Incite. Darryl Jackson has been hired as director of business development. He was previously at Zydeco Direct Sourcelink.
