MEDIAVEST RECEIVES DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TOURISM ACCOUNT

MediaVest Canada of Toronto has been assigned the Canadian communications account of Dominican Republic Tourism. Effective immediately, the agency will be responsible for planning and executing the travel marketer's media-based consumer and trade communications in this country. The assignment is part of a global consolidation plan on the part of Dominican Republic Tourism that will share in a budget of US$25 million. Agency president Sherland Forde said that the win, "not only recognizes our experience in sun destination travel marketing, it acknowledges an ability to co-ordinate our activities with those of distantly-located partners."
