PACIFIC NATIONAL EXHIBITION HIRES GREY WORLDWIDE NORTHWEST
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based Grey Worldwide Northwest has been made the ad agency of the Pacific National Exhibition. Grey won the account in a review of an unknown number of agencies. Grey will create a campaign for the annual event which takes place at the end of summer. "We are very excited about Grey's creative concept," said the exhibition's manager of advertising and media sponsorship Carmen Corazza. "Their campaign positioned the fair as a place to experience everything from live entertainment and spectacular exhibits to pavilions and food vendors." The campaign, which will begin in July, will consist of print, radio, television and transit advertising. Media planning and buying will be handled in-house by the PNE. The exhibition will run from Aug. 17 to Sept. 2.
