SUN-RYPE PROMOTES FRUIT & VEGGIE BARS

Sun-Rype Products Ltd. of Kelowna, BC has created a consumer campaign to promote its new Fruit & Veggie bars. The campaign is intended to show how the bars bring fruits and vegetables together. Two print ads, created by Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver, will run in lifestyle and health publications. The first ad depicts a merger of fruits and vegetables at a boardroom table. The second ad depicts the marriage of fruits and vegetables in a church setting. Other promotional activity includes a "Dream Green" contest with HGTV and The Food Network and a "Fruit & Veggie Quiz" with Chatelaine magazine. Samples of the bars will be distributed in major daily newspapers and Canadian Geographic magazine as well as at health and wellness trade shows. Additional support includes a national free-standing insert and in-store promotion including grocery cart advertising and displays.
