SECOND CUP, HMV.COM, EMI MUSIC PREPARE ONLINE PROMOTION

Second Cup, HMV.com and EMI Music Canada will begin a joint online promotion on March 8. The first 100 visitors to <http://www.secondcup.com> who click the link to HMV.com and purchase Sarah Brightman's new album "Classics" will also receive a Sarah Brightman compact mirror and a Second Cup "treat a friend" card. Visitors can also listen to music clips, view video clips, download pictures and enter an "Ultimate Diva Contest" to win an autographed Sarah Brightman framed print and the singer's full CD and DVD catalogue. In-store materials at 400 Second Cup locations will support the promotion. This creative was done in house. The online component was handled by Prescient, a division of Toronto-based Holmes & Lee. Public relations for Second Cup and HMV are handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
