ROGERS DEBUTS GLOW
By Adnews Staff
Rogers Publishing's new health and beauty magazine Glow (formerly Images Beauty + Health) arrives on newsstands today. The magazine replaces the Images and Healthwatch publications that were previously distributed in Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Canada. Glow has a circulation of 430,000 English copies and 70,000 French copies and is aimed at women 18 to 49 years of age. The magazine's coverage will include information about hair styles, care and colour, skincare, cosmetics and fragrances. It will also cover nutrition, fitness, illness prevention, physical and mental well-being and alternative therapies. In addition to newsstand distribution the magazine will be sent to members of Shoppers Drug Mart's Optimum loyalty program. Three versions of the magazine have been produced. Members will receive the issue that best matches their customer profiles and purchasing habits. Glow will be published in English six times a year and in French four times a year.
