COLGATE-PALMOLIVE PARTNERS WITH NBA CANADA

Toronto-based Colgate-Palmolive Canada has signed a two-year marketing deal with NBA Canada Inc. Several Colgate-Palmolive brands in various marketing categories are part of the deal. Mennen Speedstick and Lady Speedstick become the official deodorants of the NBA in Canada. Irish Spring becomes the official bar soap of the NBA in Canada. Soft Soap becomes the official liquid soap and body wash of the NBA in Canada. The marketing partnership also gives Colgate-Palmolive advertising during national NBA programming in Canada and on the NBA.com/Canada Web site. The consumer products company will also be an associate sponsor of the NBA's Hoop-It-Up national three-on-three basketball tournament as well as the NBA Dribble and Drive travelling festival. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
