L'OREAL PARIS BEGINS CANWEST CONVERGENCE CAMPAIGN

L'Oreal Paris will break an integrated campaign across a number of CanWest Global Communications properties to coincide with International Women's Day on March 8. The national effort will include the publication of a 36-page magazine to be distributed with the National Post on March 9. The magazine will cover 12 Canadian women including Denise Donlon, president of Sony Music Canada, singer Nelly Furtado and Samantha Nutt, founder of War Child Canada. The campaign will also include vignettes on Global TV and specialty station Prime, promotion in CanWest newspapers and the TV Times and online support on Canada.com and Lorealparis.ca. The campaign was organized by Optimedia, L'Oreal's media agency, and will run in conjunction with television, print and online brand advertising also tied to International Women's Day.
