MICROSOFT AWARDS CONSUMER PR BUSINESS TO HIGH ROAD

Microsoft Canada of Mississauga has appointed High Road Communications the public relations agency for its consumer group. This consolidates Microsoft's MSN.ca, home and retail products and Xbox consumer business with one agency. Previously Microsoft used Hill & Knowlton Canada for the MSN.ca and home and retail portions of the account and Edelman Canada for Xbox public relations. High Road had been shortlisted with both incumbents for the consolidated business. Hill & Knowlton will continue to handle public relations for Microsoft's commercial business. Media Profile will continue to handle corporate public relations for the company.
