HSBC PROMOTION HITS SLOPES

Banking and financial services organization HSBC Bank Canada and its public relations firm Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto have undertaken a new winter program designed to increase HSBC's brand awareness in Ontario. HSBC's "Blue Mountain Kids Ski Free" program provides free ski passes for children under 17 years of age on certain Sundays. Advertising on Toronto radio stations 680 News and EZ-Rock 97.3, on CP24-TV and in The Toronto Star and Post City magazines supports the program. The ads direct traffic to the <http://www.hsbc.ca> Web site where the ski passes can be reserved. Visitors to the site can reserve up to three passes when they make an online reservation to purchase two adult ski lift tickets. The program began last month and will run to the end of February.
