BODY SHOP BEGINS VALENTINE'S DAY CAMPAIGN

The Body Shop Canada has begun a Valentine's Day campaign that focuses on romance and reality. Created in-house, the campaign consists of two window posters in three of the Toronto-based retailer's stores. One poster displays a man and woman kissing. The second displays two men kissing. Laine Ferguson, executive vice-president of retail for The Body Shop Canada, said, "The Body Shop recognizes the diversity of its customers and is committed to communicating with them in new and different ways." Ferguson also said that Valentine's Day presents an opportunity to recognize all healthy and loving relationships. The posters will be on display in two Toronto locations as well as in a third store in Vancouver until Feb. 14. Public relations for The Body Shop are handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
