LEADING BRANDS TO PRODUCE NEW PEZ JUICE DRINKS

Leading Brands Inc. of Richmond, BC has signed a multi-year license agreement with Pez Candy Inc. of Orange, CT. to manufacture and distributes a line of Pez Juice Drinks in Canada and the U.S. Leading Brands is a food and beverage brand management company. Pez Candy distributes Pez candy dispensers and licensed products. The juice drinks will be aimed at children eight to 14 years of age. Leading Brands will also be responsible for the packaging design of the juices. The product is expected to debut in Canada and some U.S. markets in the spring.
