VISA SIGNS MARKETING DEAL WITH TOURISM VANCOUVER

Visa Canada and Tourism Vancouver have formed a three-year marketing partnership to promote travel to the city. The first initiative in the partnership will be The Visa Vancouver Rewards program, which will offer domestic and international Visa cardholders savings and rewards. As part of the program, Tourism Vancouver will promote Visa as the Official Vancouver Destination Payment card. Point of sale materials at Tourism Vancouver's member businesses will use the tagline "Vancouver's Best Way to Pay." Additional activities within the new marketing partnership will include jointly branded advertising and online savings programs. Visa has existing destination marketing alliances with Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Whistler and Canadian Intrawest Resorts.
