AM RADIO GOES COMPUTER

Toronto AM radio station 1050 CHUM has brought the oldies into the future. The station has launched a World Wide Web site that features the Top 10 songs from every CHUM Chart from May 1957 to June 1986. Throughout January, web surfers have a chance to win an IBM Aptiva computer in The Net Song Of The Day contest. Users can send song requests and dedications to CHUM via the net. They can listen to an interview with Paul McCartney and the last Canadian radio interview with Wolfman Jack. As well, there is a historical perspective of the 29-year-old CHUM Chart. The Web address is <http://www.1050chum.com>.
