AIR MILES AND CHATELAINE ASK WHAT WOMEN WANT

Toronto-based The Loyalty Group's Air Miles Reward program and Chatelaine magazine have teamed up for a joint initiative based on the theme "What Women Want." The online contest makes use of a Genie in a Bottle concept to encourage women to share their three greatest wishes. By clicking a series of magical lamps, a flying carpet and a treasure chest to list their wishes, women can enter to win one of three prizes: 50,000 Air Miles, 25,000 Air Miles or one of 100 prizes of 1,000 Air Miles. Details of the contest were emailed to a group of Air Miles collectors and Chatelaine.com visitors who had opted to receive online communications from either company. Those individuals were encouraged to forward the email to friends and family for an additional chance to enter the contest. Print ads in Chatelaine, Châtelaine, Maclean's, Today's Parent, Flare and MoneySense magazines as well as banner ads on Airmiles.ca, Chatelaine.com, Excite, MSN, Yahoo and Sympatico from Creative Initiatives also supporting the contest. The contest site was developed by MarketSpace Design Group of Toronto. Public relations for both the Air Miles program and Chatelaine are handled by GCI Group.
