BLOOR-YORKVILLE BIA PICKS METRICK SYSTEM

The Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area, a committee of local merchants in the upscale Toronto shopping area, has named The Metrick System of Toronto its advertising agency of record. The firm picked up the account in late October after a call for entries attracted pitches from an indeterminate number of agencies. The Metrick System's assignment is to create a marketing, creative and media campaign that will attract business and raise awareness of the Bloor-Yorkville area among tourists and Toronto residents. The specifics of this campaign have not yet been determined.
