FUJIFILM AIMS CAMERA AT TEENS, YOUNG ADULTS

Fujifilm Canada of Mississauga has released a new camera called the Nexia Q1 aimed at teens and young adults. The camera is shaped like a medallion and comes in colours including orange, purple, metallic blue and metallic silver. The camera has automatic flash and focus and comes with film, a battery and a neck strap. Ammirati Puris of Toronto is promoting the Nexia Q1 with banner ads on teen-targeted Web sites such as Cosmogirl.com, MuchMusic, MusiquePlus and Afraidtoask.com during the holiday season. A sweepstakes component, also running online on English-language sites, offers visitors a chance to win a Nexia Q1. Public relations for Fujifilm are handled by Apex Public Relations of Toronto.
