TRAVELODGE HOLDS REEL DEAL GIVEAWAY

Travelodge Canada begins a new promotion on Monday to reward guests who stay frequently at Travelodge or Thriftlodge locations in Canada. Between Oct. 29 and Jan. 25, 2002, visitors who stay eight nights will receive two movie passes valid at any Famous Players or Landmark Cinemas theatre in Canada. Guests who are also members of the Travelodge Miles loyalty program will receive the movie passes after six nights stay within the three-month promotional period. Guests do not have to stay at the same location or for all nights consecutively. The "Reel Deal" giveaway is one of three seasonal promotions Travelodge runs each year. Point-of-sale materials in the lobbies and individual rooms of Travelodge and Thriftlodge properties in Canada are supporting the promotion. Travelodge is also tagging its national brand advertising to include the giveaway. Print ads, created by Rossi Piedimont of Hamilton, ON, are running in the National Post and The Globe and Mail as well as in major dailies in the Prairies and Northern Ontario.
