FEDEX HOLDS SUPER BOX CONTEST

Federal Express Canada Ltd. of Mississauga began a contest called the Super Box Sweepstakes yesterday. The contest will run from October 15 to November 30. Each time a customer makes a box shipment, they can register at <http://www.fedex.ca/superbox> to win a grand prize consisting of two tickets to Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans and $2,500 in spending money. Customers can also play an online FedEx Field Goal game to win licensed NFL merchandise and other prizes. Radio and print advertising supporting the national sweepstakes builds on FedEx's three-year sponsorship as the official worldwide delivery service of the National Football League. The creative was done by Ogilvy & Mather. Media was handled by BBDO. FedEx kicked off its Super Box Sweepstakes with an event in Toronto yesterday at which the shipping company submitted an official claim to Guinness World Records for the world's largest cardboard box. Advertising is being supported with public relations from Triullum Corporate Communications of Toronto.
