LOTTO 6/49 PROMOTES BMW BONUS DRAWS

National lottery Lotto 6/49 is promoting the addition of 2002 BMW 325i luxury sedans to its prize pool. The lotteries held on October 13, 17, 20, 24 and 27 will include bonus draws during which ten additional sets of six numbers will be drawn. Players who match all six numbers in any one set will win a BMW. A maximum of five cars will be awarded for each set of bonus numbers. Canada's five lottery corporations will each promote the Lotto 6/49 BMW Car Bonus with their own activities. The BC Lottery Corporation is using television, radio, print, and online banner ads. Advertising, from Bryant, Fulton & Shee of Vancouver, also includes billboard and mall posters and online promotion at the <www.bclc.com> Web site. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is also using television and radio ads. Advertising, from BBDO Canada of Toronto, is being supported with POS materials and online promotion on its Web site at <www.olgclotteries.ca>. Montreal-based Loto Quebec and its agency Palm Publicite Marketing are using television and print ads and in-store materials. The corporation is also promoting the draws online at <www.lotoquebec.com>. The Atlantic Lottery Corporation, which covers Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, is supporting the bonus draws online at <www.alc.ca> and with television, radio and print advertising and POS materials. Its agency is Bristol Communications of Halifax. The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (covering Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut) is promoting the BMW Bonus Draws with radio, television and print advertising, POS materials and with promotion in its Luck consumer publications and on its <www.wclc.com> Web site. WCLC uses Palmer Jarvis DDB for its advertising.
