DOMINION INFORMATION SERVICES PROMOTES ADVERTISING OPTIONS IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Directory information services provider Dominion Information Services Inc. of Burnaby, BC is using a new advertising campaign to inform businesses in Vancouver and the lower mainland of how they can reach potential customers. The campaign broke late last week with five billboard executions and two television spots. The campaign's creative aims to communicate that directory advertising is still an effective way to reach consumers. The tagline is "More choice. More stuff." One billboard ad, which depicts a directory listing for adhesives, appears to be peeling off in several places. On another, which displays water proofing listings, the ink used to print the ad will run when it rains. The campaign will last through the fall. Advertising for Dominion Information Services is done by Vancouver-based Palmer Jarvis DDB. Public relations are handled by BenchMark Porter Novelli, also of Vancouver.
