GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES WEB SITE

Need to make contact with someone in the federal government? Or maybe you're trying to find your way through a maze of regulations. Well, now you can let your modem do the walking. Try the Government of Canada's new spot on the Wrold Wide Web named, appropriately, Canada Site. You'll find news releases, reports from federal departments and descriptions of how various branches of government operate. Federal institutions are listed alphabetically and there are electronic links to the approximately 35 federal organizations that have their own Internet sites, as well as descriptions of those that don't. There are also links to provincial and municipal governments. The Web address is <http://canada.gc.ca>.
