A. LASSONDE GETS SUNKIST LICENSE FOR EASTERN CANADA

Juice and fruit drink manufacturer A. Lassonde of Rougemont, PQ, has signed a licensing agreement with Sunkist Growers Inc. of Sherman Oaks, CA. The agreement is for the processing, distribution and marketing of Sunkist juices and uncarbonated fruit drinks in Eastern Canada. According to the company, the agreement will enable it to increase it sales during the next five years to approximately $50 million. Lassonde's other brands include Rougemont, Oasis, Fruité, Bright's, Allen's and Graves.
