COSSETTE SWALLOWS MOLSON DRY ACCOUNT IN QUEBEC

Montreal-based brewer Molson has awarded its Molson Dry account in Quebec to Cossette Communication-Marketing. The agency already works on the Molson Export and Tornado brands. Cossette won the business following an agency review which initially included seven-year incumbent Publicis Canada and Taxi Advertising & Design. Taxi also currently works for Molson on its Rickard's Red and Gold brands and its Responsible Use program. The three agencies had been invited to pitch for the Molson Dry business earlier this summer. Last month, Molson announced it would be moving the account to a new agency, which took Publicis out of the running. Cossette's responsibility for advertising and promotion for the Molson Dry brand in Quebec begins immediately.
