CALEXIS AND THE MEDIA COMPANY TUNE INTO "HEALTH IN A HEARTBEAT"

Calexis Advertising and The Media Company, both of Toronto, are creating a new series television ads that will extend Subway Restaurant's healthy eating message. The four 30-second "Health in a Heartbeat" episodes will feature Jared Fogle, whose weight loss story is the theme of Subway's "Inspired by Jared" ads. Fogle, who lost weight by exercising and eating Subway sandwiches, will appear in the ads with Dr. Larry Patrick, head of the Cardiac Fitness Institute of Southwestern Ontario. The two will discuss how changes to diet combined with exercise can result in better long-term cardiac fitness. The "Health in a Heartbeat" spots begin running on CTV this fall, accompanied by a <http://www.healthinaheartbeat.com> Web site which will launch later this month.
