LAVER NAMED GM OF DOMINION INFORMATION SERVICES

Scott Laver has been named vice-president and general manager of Dominion Information Services, a Burnaby, BC-based company formed after Verizon Information Services acquired Telus' directory information services business. The company combines Telus' directory operations and parts of Calgary-based Telus Advertising Services with Verizon's British Columbia-based Dominion Information Services and Quebec-based Lees Annuaires du Quebec directory operations. Laver was previously at Verizon Information Services where he was regional vice-president of the U.S.-based company's midwest territory operations.
