TORONTO CONVENTION CENTRE WRAPPED FOR TOURISM
By Adnews Staff
The front windows of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's North Building on Front Street are being used to promote Ontario's 1000 Islands and other provincial tourist destinations. Made of a vinyl material similar to that used to wrap buses, the ads invite business and leisure visitors to the city to visit other provincial tourist destinations while visiting Toronto. The campaign is from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Business Development. The windows will be updated every three months with a photo of a new tourist destination. When the next update takes place this fall the number of windows used will increase from 17 to 68, allowing the billboard to display several tourist destinations at once. Production and installation of the photo billboards are being handled by SystemGraphics Digital Imaging, Inc. of Toronto. Public relations for the convention centre are being handled by Stark Communications, also of Toronto.
