KAHLUA KOLLECTIVE BEATS PROGRAM COMES TO CANADA
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Corby Distilleries Limited is bringing Kahlua Kollective Beats, a global program based on dance club culture, to Canada this summer. The program was developed by The Shop, a promotions company with offices in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. It is designed to bring the spirit of Ibiza, an island in Spain where dance and music fans travel to each year, to party-goers around the world. Featuring pyrotechnics, acrobatics, fire-eaters and other special effects and imagery, the Kahlua Kollective Beats program will stop at the Wettbar in Vancouver on June 19 and The Guvernment in Toronto on June 21. "Dance club culture is the biggest trend we have seen in years among the twenty-something crowd," said Bruce Miller, national brand manager for Corby Distilleries. "Kahlua Kollective Beats is on the cutting-edge of this trend by bringing Canadians an Ibizan dance music experience that connects perfectly with Kahlua's 'Anything Goes' brand image." In Canada, the program, promotions and event coordination are being managed by The Media Company. The in-bar interactive portion of the program consists of sampling, Kahlua trivia, games and activities, handled by TMG Solutions. One fan will win a trip to experience Ibiza first-hand. Fans who cannot make it to Vancouver or Toronto can enter at any liquor store in Canada during June. Public relations are being handled by Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto.
