NORTHERN LIGHTS TO PLUG NOVA SCOTIA POWER PENSION PLAN

Nova Scotia Power Inc. has hired Toronto internal communication agency Northern Lights to market the company's new pension plan to employees. "We needed to find a way to clearly and efficiently reach all employees so they could make an informed decision about the pension plan that was right for them," said Jim Baur, program manager for human resources initiatives at Nova Scotia Power. "Northern Lights presented fresh and creative ways to lift our pension communication off the bulletin board and into the hands of employees." The communications campaign will include a variety of marketing materials delivered via print and electronic media. The agency will also conduct a review of Nova Scotia Power's internal communications to seek more effective and creative ways of speaking with employees.
