SLEEMAN PROMOTES MOMENT OF TRUTH CONTEST

Sleeman Breweries Ltd. of Guelph, ON is building on its "Nothing to Hide" radio and television advertising campaign with a new four-week promotion. The Sleeman "Moment of Truth" contest broke yesterday across CanWest Global's Web, television and print platforms. A web site at <http://www.canada.com.momentoftruth> has been developed at which users are encouraged to share a "moment of truth" for the chance to win a $25,000 fishing trip for four to the Langara Lodge Resort in British Columbia. The site also encourages users to "share" their moment with friends. A panel of judges will review the entries each week. The top five will appear in a print ad in the National Post's sports section every Monday beginning June 4. Television advertising featuring Lori Belanger of Global's Sportsline began running throughout Ontario on May 24 in support of the contest. An online advertising campaign on the Canada.com network of sites will target Ontario residents for the duration of the promotion. Sleeman's "Nothing to Hide" campaign was created by Zig Inc. of Toronto.
