NINTENDO TO ADD GAMECUBES TO MCDONALD'S FUN ZONES

Vancouver-based Nintendo of Canada will update its N64 Fun Zones in certain McDonald's restaurants in Canada with GameCube consoles later this year. The Fun Zones are part of a multi-year promotional agreement Nintendo and Toronto-based McDonald's Restaurants of Canada reached last spring. In the interactive areas McDonald's customers can play the latest Nintendo video games free of charge. N64 Zones will be converted into GameCube Fun Zones beginning this November when the Nintendo GameCube launches in Canada. McDonald's operates over 1,150 restaurants in this country. Public relations for Nintendo of Canada are handled by GCI Group of Toronto.
