NEW PRESIDENT FOR TORSTAR MEDIA GROUP

Robert Prichard had been appointed president of Torstar Media Group and chief operating officer of Torstar Corporation, effective July 1. Torstar Media Group includes The Toronto Star, Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distributing, the Regional Daily Newspaper Group as well as New Ventures and New Media. He is currently a visiting professor at Harvard Law School.
