SHOPPERS DRUG MART BREAKS NEW CAMPAIGN

Shoppers Drug Mart has broken a new advertising campaign from Toronto's TBWAChiatDay. The campaign includes a 60-second spot called "Until Then" in which no products or pharmacists appear. The ad consists of a series of impossible health situations with a voice-over. One scene depicts a 150-year-old woman who appears to be in her sixties blowing the candles out on her birthday cake. The voice-over says "Until we live well into our hundreds, there's Shoppers Drug Mart." Another scene depicts a man who cuts his face while shaving accompanied by the voice-over "Until the body can heal itself instantly, there's Shoppers Drug Mart." The tagline is "Shoppers Drug Mart...Take Care of Yourself." The campaign, which also includes 15-second versions of the spot, is running on television, in theatres as well as on airline flights. Shoppers Drug Mart operates a network of over 850 retail pharmacies across Canada.
