NEW PUBLISHER AT HAMILTON SPECTATOR

Torstar has named Jagoda Pike publisher of The Hamilton Spectator and senior vice-president of regional daily newspapers for the Torstar Media Group. Pike, who was most recently general manager of The Toronto Star, replaces Pat Collins, current publisher of The Spectator and executive vice-president of the Torstar Daily Newspaper Group. Collins is departing to take over the position of chief financial officer and senior vice-president of operations for the Torstar Media Group on May 14.
