TEEN TRIBUTE PUBLISHES SIX-COVER ISSUE
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Tribute Entertainment Media Group will achieve what is calls a publishing first when the Summer 2001 issue Teen Tribute rolls out: the magazine will be wrapped in six covers. Four of the six covers are two-page gatefolds which can be pulled off to become posters for summer movies A Knight's Tale, The Mummy Returns, The Fast and the Furious, and Tomb Raider. The other two covers promote Angel Eyes and American Pie 2. "Our research shows teens love to collect posters" said Catherine Bridgman, Tribute's vice-president of publishing for North America. "We decided to create excitement by giving them more of what they want." Teen Tribute is published quarterly and has a circulation of 300,000. It is distributed for free in movie theatres, high schools and community centres in Canada.
