ENMAX CAMPAIGN IN FULL BLOOM

Calgary-based Enmax Corporation has launched its Spring 2001 "Questions are Good, Answers are Better" brand campaign. The multimedia effort is running throughout Alberta targeting both existing and potential residential and commercial customers of the electricity retailer. According to Enmax, its brand strategy positions the company as a credible source of industry information and as an industry leader with a focus on customer care. A series of outdoor executions running in the Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Edmonton markets feature the headlines "Get Plugged In," "Knowledge is Power" and "Powerful Stuff." All three executions feature the Enmax.com URL. Print advertising is also encouraging consumers to visit the Enmax Web site or call its customer care centre for facts about deregulation as well as tips on how to save energy and information on Enmax programs including its Electrical Safety Program and Rinklighter Programs. Three 30-second television spots, one targeting the residential market, one focusing on the commercial market and one addressing community investment, are also included in the campaign. In addition to its branding campaign, Enmax is communicating with customers via the Enmax Energy Education series running on CTV. The series offers customers energy tips and industry updates. Advertising for Enmax is done by MGM Communications of Calgary.
