VETS EXTEND AD AGREEMENT WITH PETCARE

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association is extending its existing shared advertising agreement with PetCare Insurance Brokers Ltd. of Oakville. The CVMA is a national body representing the interests of veterinarians in Canada. PetCare provides insurance for dogs and cats. Under the terms of the advertising agreement, PetCare can use the CVMA logo and the phrase "Exclusively endorsed by the Canadian Veterinary Media Association" in its advertising and promotional activities. The original agreement the CVMA and PetCare entered into in 1999 will expire in July 2001. This extension is for a further two years. Advertising for PetCare is done on a project basis. PetCare also holds similar ad agreements with the Ontario and Alberta Veterinary Medical Associations as well as the Académie de Médecine Vétérinaire du Québec Inc.
