BACK TO BASICS FOR STARK COMMUNICATIONS
By Adnews Staff
Stark Communications has won a trio of new public relations assignments. Basics Office Products, Ltd. of Kitchener, ON, has hired the Toronto agency to handle a national PR program for its chain of office supply stores. Stark won the assignment based on a referral. The PR program will focus on the company's 25th anniversary. Advertising for Basics Office Products is done by Thursby & Associates of Toronto. Toronto-based Associated Brands has also awarded a public relations assignment to Stark. The agency first worked with Associated Brands last fall on the re-launch of the J-Cloth brand. Stark landed this job, a summer PR program which will focus on unusual uses for J-Cloths, based on its previous work. Stark is also handling the event planning for the annual National Newspaper Awards Gala taking place at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto on May 3. Stark has held the contract for the annual awards for the past ten years.
