LABATT ROCKS WITH NEW BUDWEISER CAMPAIGN

A new advertising campaign for Labatt's Budweiser continues to build the brand as the "number one rock beer with attitude." The campaign was created by Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal and targets young adults in the Quebec market. Two 30-second television commercials are running in English and French. Each spot depicts a group of young adults out for the night. The camera follows the group closely. At the end of each spot, a young woman pushes the camera away. Budweiser will also be sponsoring a number of Musique Plus programs this spring including Watt, Concerts Plus and Courbe. The Internet component of the campaign begins at the end of March. Several sections of the <http://www.showbizz.net> Web site will be associated with Budweiser. Those Web pages, which will feature artist files that includes biographies, interviews and contests, will also be accessible through <http://www.budweiser.ca>.
