YOUTH CULTURE'S VERVE AND FUEL NOW ONLINE

Toronto-based Youth Culture Inc. has launched Web sites for its Verve and Fuel magazines. The two publications debuted last fall targeting the 12- to 17-year-old age group. Verve targets girls while Fuel targets boys. The magazines' new Web sites are located at Fuelpowered.com and Vervegirl.com. Visitors can also access either site through the "All Pop!" section at Canoe.ca, which is hosting the sites. The magazines' online counterparts will feature editorial from the printed versions as well as additional online material. Each site will be updated twice a week. To promote the sites, banner ads are rotating throughout Canoe.ca. Additional support includes in-magazine promotion. Verve and Fuel are distributed throughout schools in English Canada only.
