WOMEN'S SPORTS NETWORK REBRANDED WTSN

The Women's Sports Network has changed its name to WTSN. The upcoming 24-hour network dedicated to the coverage of women's sports is owned by Toronto-based sports network TSN. According to David Rosenbloom, communications manager for TSN, the company wanted to capitalize on the equity in the TSN name for the new network. WTSN debuts this fall. The English-language network was one of a number of new digital specialty channels the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission approved for broadcasting last year. Programming will consist of event coverage, information updates and magazine shows.
